A New Parish - The 1950s

The 1970s

Due to a lack of funds, the school was closed in June 1971.  Fr. Edward Konopka was named the third pastor on November 1, 1971.  Three years later, Fr. Lawrence Nawrocki became pastor on November 6, 1974.  The Knights of Columbus Council #7200 was formed in December 1978.  With the area growing, SS. John and Paul and St. John Vianney parishes were partitioned from St. Isidore in June 1979.

The 1980s

In December 1981, the former school building was remodeled into a social hall.  In February 1986, the parish makes the decision to build a new, larger church.  The groundbreaking for the new church building took place on April 12, 1987.  In November of 1987, Fr. Charles Zeeb was named pastor.  In June of 1988, the new building was dedicated.

The 1990s

On April 11, 1992, St. Therese of Lisieuz parish was partitioned from St. Isidore.  On July 1 of 1992, Fr. Frank Berge was named pastor.  In July 1996, St. Maximillian Kolbe parish was partitioned from St. Isidore.  In July 1998, the renovation and expansion plan called "Building for the Future" drive begins.

The Turn of the Century

On March 8, 2000, Fr. Mike Hrydziuszko arrived as the new pastor of St. Isidore.  On May 15, 2001, the groundbreaking ceremony for the "Building for the Future" renovation took place.  In 2004, the church expansion was complete.
